South Croydon Football Club is thrilled to announce one of the our favourite sons has returned for 2017. We are very proud of Matt’s achievements since leaving the club after being a 2 time premiership player and 3 time best & fairest with South.

Matt had one year playing for Labrador in 2011 then returned to play for Box Hill in 2012 and had such a fantastic year that he was drafted by the Melbourne Football Club with pick 53 in the 2012 AFL Draft.

Since being drafted he played a total of 61 games for Melbourne and averaged over 20 disposals a game, also finishing 4th in the club B&F in a great first year at the Demons.

Coach Leigh Adams is very excited about what Matt will bring to our midfield group and old team mates like Dano King and Liam Fitzgerald can’t wait to run out with him again.

We welcome Matt, Courtney and Lenni back home and we are sure George and Sharon will be delighted to have Matt back at the Kennel.
