The club has been notified of the recent passing of former committee man and club member Howard (Howie) Payne last week, after a period of illness. Howie will be remembered by many at the club for the various volunteer roles while on committee, including the creation of the original Howie Burger.

We send our thoughts and condolences to wife Vicky, son Lyndon, daughter Sally and extended family.

Howie’s Funeral Service and Committal is appointed to take place at the Doveton Park Funeral Centre, Fernery Chapel, 1251 Doveton Street North, Ballarat on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 2.00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to BRICC (www.bricc.bhs.org. au) would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available on the day.
