The club is extremely pleased to announce that Dylan Marshall been appointed senior club captain for season 2019, taking over from long term skipper Dano King.

Dylan’s playing career at South Croydon reaches back to our junior club U13 age group, subsequently playing in two junior premierships.

He has been a regular senior player post his U18 years, having now played over 150 club games.

On field Dylan has shown his leadership qualities for some time, having served as vice captain for the past three seasons, including the premiership year. Dylan always provides voice and guidance, not only to his backline group, but the team as a whole.

Importantly, over the past few seasons Dylan has shown strong leadership off field. He has taken on several non playing roles, assisting the committee and gaining a strong understanding of what it takes to run a club both on and off field.

Watching this overall development as a solid contributor to the total SCFC community gives us great satisfaction.
