ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – 22 NOV 2019.

Our Annual General Meeting was held last night where our President for the last 4 years, Cathy White formally stood down from the role.

We would like to publicly thank Cathy for her tireless work in leading the club over this time. It has been a tremendously successful period for us with our first ever top flight senior men’s flag in 2017, the establishment of our women’s team in 2018 and their first premiership in 2019. Cathy is not lost to the club, agreeing to stay on the general committee to help oversee our clubroom improvements.

After many years experience in the Secretary’s role, Steve Duke will take over from Cathy as President.

Steve noted at last night’s meeting – “Cathy has certainly left big shoes to fill, but I am looking forward to the challenge of leading the club as we continue striving to be the best community football/netball club in the competition. While important, this is about more than just winning games, it is about providing the right facilities and support for players in all teams and members to continue to grow and be successful in life as well as their sport. Over the past 10 years we have built incredible foundations on which we can continue to grow.”

Other key executive elections from the meeting included:
Vince Cali – Vice President
Fiona Schinck – Secretary
Warren French – Treasurer

Full committee members include:
Damon Hindmarsh – Football Operations
Rod Smith – Women’s Football Development
Caitlyn Adams – Social

Cathy White – General Committee
John Dinnell – General Committee
Liam Cox – General Committee
Wendy Langford – General Committee / Club Confidante
Greg Whiffin – General Committee

We congratulate Steve and Fiona in their new roles, welcome new members Rod and Liam Cox, and thank all existing members for their continued service.
