LEIGH ADAMS – APPOINTED SOUTH CROYDON FOOTBALL CLUB SENIOR COACH

8 Oct 2015 by CLUB ADMIN

The club is delighted to announce recently retired North Melbourne Football Club player Leigh Adams as Senior Coach for the 2016 season.

Leigh played 104 games for the Kangaroos between 2007 and 2014. Before that he was captain of both Eastern Ranges and Vic Metro team in the 2006 U18 championship. Leigh played his junior football with Woori Yallock.

Leigh brings excellent knowledge from the AFL system, having spent the second half of this year with the Roos as a development coach and also assisting with the midfield coaching at the Northern Knights TAC team.

Leigh is very excited to be returning to local footy within the EFL, and understands the challenges faced by community clubs such as South Croydon. The club is confident that Leigh will have the Doggies back playing an exciting brand of football in 2016.

We are thrilled to welcome Leigh and partner Cassie to the South Croydon FC family.

Now that the senior position has been filled, the club will make more announcements in the next few weeks regarding assistant coaches, support staff, development squad coach and U19s coach.

Look out for news about a meet the coach evening in the next few days.
