INTRODUCING THE DOG HOUSE - weekly draw!

Hi Folks,

With all the restrictions imposed over the last couple months, it does feel as though we have had our worlds upended and been thrown in the dog house, and this time, without even having done anything wrong! So, now you can officially be part of it – come join “The Dog House”.

With our normal social activities and fundraisers on hold, it is important we find other ways to help cover the costs associated with running the club, thus the new Dog House initiative.

While the costs will be far less than a normal season with less games, reduced EFNL charges and reduced Council charges, there are still costs involved in running the club and at this stage we do not know what sort of normal income will be available. We have had some fantastic sponsors stick with us during these tough times, whilst others have had their business income impacted significantly and will not be in a position to help as much as in the past, therefore we are looking at new ideas like this.

Over 15 weeks, starting 11th June, all Dog House members will be included in a weekly draw for $350-

Cost:
$150- (the equivalent of $10 pw over the 15 weeks)

Weekly Draw:
Until we can get back to the club rooms, we plan to conduct the draws through a live Facebook post each Thursday night. With the continued relaxation of the rules, we hope to be able to expand the draw to include updates and information about what is going on. Not quite our normal Thursday night Teams event, but heading in that direction. For those not on Facebook we will email members with details of the draw winner each week.

For ease of administration, numbers for the draw will be issued in order of emails received.

Registration and Payment:
For Dog House membership and inclusion in the draw, you need to email your details to the President – steve.m.duke@gmail.com.

We need your name, mobile number and payment method.
A couple simple options exist for payment (note – payment must be received before you will be included in the draw).
• Offset – if you have already paid your Kennel Club membership or club Registration, you can offset a Dog House membership against those funds paid – just let us know that this is what you want. Once we know more about what the season will look like, we will work out the appropriate costs for these items.
• Direct Credit – For all others, payments can be made direct to the club’s bank account (Bank of Bendigo BSB 633000 Acct 122162308). Please use DogHouse and your name in the reference field.
